About Bronchoscopy & Procedures
Safe & painless procedures to investigate & diagnose your symptoms:
Bronchoscopy and Lavage
Bronchoscopy is an endoscopic procedure that allows for direct visual inspection of the bronchial airways. It is commonly used to diagnose and explore respiratory conditions, including infections and lung cancer. The procedure involves collecting diagnostic samples, such as biopsies and fluid washings. Bronchoscopy can be performed with either conscious sedation or general anesthesia, based on the patient’s requirements and the nature of the examination.
Endobronchial Ultrasound ( EBUS)
Convex probe EBUS is a sophisticated bronchoscopic technique that enables direct visualization of lymph nodes and other structures outside the proximal bronchial airways. By using real-time EBUS guidance, physicians can perform transbronchial needle aspiration (TBNA) to biopsy abnormal lymph nodes or lung masses that are typically difficult to access with standard bronchoscopy. This method is particularly valuable for diagnosing and staging lung cancer and other respiratory conditions.
Radial probe EBUS is an advanced diagnostic procedure used alongside standard flexible bronchoscopy. It employs a thin ultrasound probe to detect and biopsy small peripheral lung nodules and lesions, offering greater diagnostic accuracy compared to traditional bronchoscopy techniques.
Intercostal Catheter (ICC)
An intercostal catheter (ICC) is a chest tube placed between the ribs into the pleural space—the area between the lungs and the chest wall—to drain fluid or air. The procedure is typically done under local anesthesia
Indwelling Pleural Catheter
An indwelling pleural catheter (IPC) is a small, flexible tube inserted between the ribs into the pleural space—the area between the lungs and the chest wall. Designed for long-term use, it enables ongoing drainage of pleural fluid from the comfort of the patient’s home. IPCs are often used to manage pleural fluid accumulation in patients with advanced lung cancer and other malignancies, alleviating symptoms such as breathlessness and pain while maintaining a low risk of infection.
Therapeutic Interventional bronchoscopy
Minimally invasive advanced therapeutic interventional bronchoscopy procedures such as cryobiopsies, laser bronchoscopy and recanalisation of airways
Learn More About

Lung function
We conduct detailed lung function tests, including spirometry, to assess breathing capacity, diagnose conditions, and guide effective respiratory treatment.

Respiratory
We assess, diagnose, and manage lung conditions like asthma, COPD, and chronic cough with expert care and personalised treatment plans.
